Hello Fall

There is something about the changing of the seasons that I just love. It's like the next little adventure is starting and each season brings something fun and exciting. And let's face it, who doesn't like an excuse to buy new clothes for whatever season we are coming into, but fall is by far the best! The cozy sweaters, boots & blanket scarves. It's everything I love about fashion all wrapped up into one perfect season. Where the mornings are cool and crisp and the afternoons are sunny and beautiful. So here we go, my top 3 favorite items for fall & my top 3 places to wear them... let the leaves keep falling & let's go on an adventure!

Fall Fashion Must Haves...

1. A teddy bear jacket. Literally like a warm hug on a chilly fall day.

2. An over sized sweater (or 3!). Pretty self explanatory. Comfort meets style. I love wearing mine with a pair of ripped jeans or faux leather leggings and a cute pair of ankle boots.

3. A great felt hat. I fully believe that a hat (or any great accessory) turns an average outfit into something way more. It's the easiest way to fake your way into looking like a fashionista. Whether you're rushing out the door to do school drop off or heading out for a date night, it bumps up the style factor on any outfit... and an added bonus, you can hide even the worst hair day! Total win, am I right?!!!

Favorite Fall Adventures...

1. Laity Pumpkin Patch

There are actually two Laity Pumpkin Patches. North and South. We have visited both, but really love the newer South Patch. We were told that out of the two patches, this one is more geared towards ages 6 & up, but we spent hours on this side with Parker (who is currently 3 years old). There is a barn full of animals, hay rides, an obstacle course, tons of games to play, a corn maze, the sweetest little bunny hill and of course the pumpkin patch to wander through. We finally dragged Parker out after 3 hours, but I'm sure he would have happily played longer!

2. Harvest Glow in Langley

This inside event is a total must for the fall. Live music, a market, mini golf, pony rides, LED swings, indoor pumpkin patch, busy bee corn maze, pirate ship playground, train rides, and even light up hop scotch pads! There were so many fun things for all ages at this event and I loved that it was an indoors, so even if it's pouring rain outside it didn't ruin the fun. Let's face it, if you live in Vancouver, (aka Raincouver) some indoor options are definitely a must & this one did not disappoint! Make sure you check out their website and you can save 25% off of select nights. This event runs until Oct 30th & then stayed tuned for the Glow Christmas event coming in November!

3. Krause Berry Farms

Pumpkin waffles. Need I say more? We love the selection of pumpkins they have here and always load up an our favorite white (ghost) ones! The food and market are amazing (fresh berries and veggies, ice cream, pies, soups and their corn pizza is to die for!) ...& Parker is also obsessed with the tractor rides! They even offer wine tasting and host the most beautiful weddings and events. We always have the best time at Krause Berry Farms year round!
